Nutritionists say that if you combine certain foods several times a week you can super-charge your health.  A “super food” is something that contains multiple nutrients, which positively impact our health. A “super food duo” is when you combine foods to increase the absorption and availability of the nutrients.  They claim more nutrients mean less disease and better overall wellness.  Who wouldn’t want that?

The following five “super food duos” offer delicious ways to pair up these foods to maximize their potential health benefits.  I especially love the apples and chocolate duo!
